Master of Applied Linguistics
The Master of Applied Linguistics (Masters of Applied Linguistics) is a one-year program designed for graduate professionals working with language in a range of areas such as TESOL, second / foreign language teaching, translation and interpreting. It provides a professional qualification and specialist training in the discipline, and may prepare for doctoral level study.
The program aims to equip students with an understanding of key issues and research finding in applied linguistics, and with the skills to make a substantial professional contribution to the field.
The following streams are available:
- Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages (TESOL)
- Language Testing and Language Program Evaluation
- Technology And Language Learning (TALL)
- English Language

Note that entry requirements are the same for all specializations, so you are free to choose any specialization when you enroll in the course.
Online Delivery Option
The Masters of Applied Linguistics is offered online in addition to on-campus delivery.
